“Volunteer Forum is a dream came true. As the youth of Sri Lanka we saw the burning necessities of the society, especially among underprivileged in the country for ages. We believe that each individual has the right to access the resources and opportunities. But we have also seen the lack of paths to empower them and upgrade them. So as the youth, which try to think out of the box and try to make a change, we realized that if we want to a make change, we have to be the path. With that, it became a dream of us few years ago.

Dreaming is easy but making it reality is the real task. The road was not lying on a bed of roses, it was filled with thrones and stones. But now we can proudly say that we came over all the challenges and difficulties and could make the dream a reality in the beginning of 2020 under the name of “Volunteer Forum”.

As the result “Volunteer Forum” has been hosted as non-government, non-profit organization originated in Sri Lanka. Since then, we have started our journey with the vision of restoring the hope for a better future.

As the team of “Volunteer Forum” we have been touching the fields of education, higher education, sports, social development, healthcare, social welfare, child care, youth empowerment and many more.

Spread the love and the value of education among the upcoming generations, support the youth to reach their goals, plant the interest in the fields of sports, art and culture among the youth by engaging them in such fields, empower the youth with knowledge, develop the new job opportunities for the youth, conducting seminars, conferences and workshops to give the career guidance to the youth, conducting awareness programs about social diseases, promote the unity among the youth, support the needy and underprivileged in the society are few of the objectives of the “Volunteer Forum” in brief.

And now, hundreds of volunteers from all around the world are now joining their hands with us to make our vision and mission a reality.
